The madness and the love for queues

Am queuing for the famous old airport road lao fu zhi char kway teow and my khakis are queuing for the lao ban tau huay now! It's a night of sourcing for good hawker food. Next stop: kating laksa! Hahaha!

Vroom Vroom! Cars 2

I love it when movies portray round the world scenes. When catching the trailer of Cars 2, I caught glimpses of Japan, England (big ben), Paris (Eiffel tower, louvre etc), all amidst delightfully cute cars :D Considering Singapore is also in the limelight for F1 soon, it's great timing to get the mood ready!

The best part is they have my fave color to portray a secret service agent, Holley Shiftwell! She's the one on the left below, next to the all time fave, Mater! Actually if I was a purple colored spy car, I'll call myself Magenta Shinealot. Magenta cos it's purple, and because she is so shiny. Otherwise, if i'm my car body is made up of reflective surfaces (so that i can blend in with the surroundings), I'll call myself Mirer Cantseeme. Hahaa, having worked in the aviation industry, watching this scene below really cracked me up at how cool they reconstruct the interior of an aircraft to be. Awesome!

Getting fatter by switching jobs

Sigh. I thought I escaped the constant flow of goodies from my old company (not that I mind, exotic food worldwide is always welcomed) but now my new company has more stuff!!

Yesterday I had tao kuay from old airport road, delicious char kuay teow from don't know where and today look at the goodies I got! Oh my. It's a never-ending task to ward off the evil goodies :)
