I. Am. Free!!!!!!

To be honest, I don't feel particularly life-changing when my last paper of my entire school life ended with a soft thud. No more cramming for exams (and being suspiciously glued to the newspapers everyday just because I'm willing to do anything except study), no more fretting over timetables, deciding whether to photocopy (and thus pirate) a textbook or buy it straight etc.

But that also means no more free days whereby I can do absolutely nothing at home or hang out with friends, go for weekday lunch offers, kbox offers etc. Well, I would definitely miss my university life and all the memories that came along with it. :)

Ended today with a huge bang with an unexpected twist of fate too. Was just having dinner with Shuhui when we bumped into val, zhiliang, shixiong, philip and wanyu and they jio-ed us for impromptu kbox session, so we trooped to clementi to sing our hearts out, minusing the latter two though :( Boy, it was a hilarious singing session filled with whacky stunts (caught on video), vulgarities-sprouting songs that start with chocolate starfish (also caught on video hehehe) and plain crazy cao meng songs. HAHA we really laughed to the max! :D it was certainly a nice ending to my uni life, and i can't wait for convocation already! :D

thanks folks!!! I would definitely choose CS again without a second of doubt even if given a second chance, because of the wonderful people I met here :)

Thinking abt post exams events

I have two papers more to go and I'm already itching to pack my luggage for my Europe trip!! Argh. Plus, the exchange rate has been dropping like mad since the volcanic ash incident and also greece's bad debts. Shopping galore!!!!!!!! :D :D am tempte to change more money now haha!

After today's paper I'll be relatively free! Heh because I S/U my last paper and I'm glad I did it too. The feeling of not having exams anymore is kinda good after thinking abt it for awhile. Haha!

Anyhoos, I'm having a blast downloading FREE lonely planet guidebooks off app store!!!! Much love to the people at lonely planet! It's all part of a "survival kit" because of the ash cloud incident, and I downloaaded about 8 - 10 guides of major cities in europe!! :D :D It even includes a city map so I'm all set for my europe trip! heh

Another random note, yan yan (the childhood snack we always eat, whereby you dip a biscuit stick into chocolate/strawberry/vanilla sauce) came up with a new hazelnut flavour! I grabbed it in NTUC today and I hope it'll taste good! I tried their mango flavoured version few weeks ago and it's not very appealing to me though. Exam welfare, yes. Can't believe its the last time I'm ever gonna be stuck at home studying. =(

meet james bun! we went to brewerkz after our final presentation and got high on one pint of beer. -.- hahahaa! but the brewerkz people are really awesome! they allowed us to use multiple vouchers and did everything in a friendly and sincere manner. I'll definitely go back for the heavenly choc fudge cake (it's HUGE) and by far my fave mashed potatoes! their onion rings are good too!

Last class of my entire life, possibly.

Just ended my last class of my schooling years (provided i'm not taking masters haha!) yesterday with my spanish oral presentation, and I managed to get my classmates laughing madly! Not bad :D Tuesday's GV17 presentation went really well too, with Andrew doing the classic Titanic-and-kneeling-down pose that had us clutching our tummies in laughter. :) Such memories are rare to come by!

And now, after our FYP presentation next monday, it's just exams left before we set off to our grad trip on 12 May! woohoooo! It was really a long journey of FYP since July last year, and what started off shakly ended off tremendously well, I would say. =) The four of us made a wonderful team and I won't change my FYP mates if given another chance. =) 

As one stage of our lives comes to an end, we'll now be moving on to another huge stage of working life. And I still have not found a job! =P 

Please please please let the volcanic dust fly away so we can go europe for our grad trip! arghh all our train and air tickets are booked and paid already.

Integrity

4 presentations and 1 oral next week. they are all looming up to me.

I think I need to update this blog regularly, seems like a part of my life has been missing, and I bet I'll forget what I did for this part of my life ten years down the road.

Let's see. it's been a whirlwind of FYP stuff mostly, all the 3am late nights editing till-my-eyes-go-blurry and also spending time to get to know my significant other better. :) Sometimes a deeper understanding of someone allows you to see how different each human is, and yet how strikingly similar. You'll see how best to understand someone, to try to merge your lives together, to compromise and communicate. I really learnt loads in the process, and glad that he is with me every step of the way. :)

been also trying desparately to keep in contact with various working / studying friends, as everyone seems to be all over the place and not in one classroom (like in secondary school days whereby your friends are all in one class haha)

and yes! preparing for my grad trip to europe :D

plus the need to apply for jobs is growing larger by the day, and everyday I procrastinate. urgh.

finally, exams in about 2 weeks' time. relatively lesser papers this time round, guess I also found an excuse to slack off slightly. hehehe.
