an ending

As this term closes, the realization dawned on me that my university years are really coming to an end.

it's quite scary at times, when you are so used to going to school for the past 16 years of your life and all of a sudden you are not a student anymore. you are an adult who is supposed to make your own decisions and plan your own path in life, be responsible for everything you do, no more staying in the "learning" phase and making mistakes as you go along and getting forgiven. you now have to face consequences and literally grow up. :)

i will miss being a student, and miss all the stuff i've been learning for the past four years, but i guess it's time to put all these materials to practical use.

opportunities abound, and though the future looks uncertain, but one thing i know for sure, that is there will always be people providing me support and give me advice, be my mentors and role models.

what do i want to do as a job? what are the things that interest me and will spur me to do my best in them? what do i want to learn in the job and in the end contribute to a bigger picture of my life?

so many questions that i'm still searching answers for.

it's a journey of knowing myself, and knowing the world at large.

but i'm ready.

deadlines

Lesson learnt - Sleep is extremely important for your well-being.

Went to the podiatrist two days ago, wanting to remove a blood clot on my toe, and i ended up with a very nice hole with no toe nail on my second toe. not bad, at least it looks clean and not clotted up. I hope my nail grows back fast though. =/

Sorry for the lack of updates, been really packed with rushing presentations, projects, tests and other in between stuff like watching a movie marathon with wanwei, and having my first mugging day in sch with her too. =)

and i went to kbox too! =D an impromptu decision by siew and i that night, but it was well worth it.
