Yep! I'm back from an amazing trip to Phuket three shades darker, accompanied with wonderful friends and tons of great experiences. :D Each trip brings its own share of memories, people and things to cherish, and I'm glad to be part of it all! Whether it's good (trying out homecooked thai dishes) or bad (getting duped by shop owners), they all make up my perfect phuket trip :D
Too bad my camera died on me on the second day at the beach, so I don't have much photos to share. Will be grabbing them from my friend before doing a complete travel post yeah!
Now I'm counting down to my final trip to down under - in less than 4 days! *blissful look*

Things so Singaporean
Check out this Singaporean song! It's not official but it's great :D
The sentence about the durians keeping the merlion company is hilarious hahahaa
"The things that make us Singaporeans, are the things that I love best!"
Indeed :D

sun, sand, and the endless sea
Sawadeeka!
In less than 24 hours, I'll be on the pretty island of Phuket! It's slightly smaller than singapore, or so my knowledgable dad says.
and what i'm really really looking forward to will be the super shiok massages and spa treatments *blissful look* and of course not getting tired of looking at the beautiful beaches! woohoo!!!!
all of the tsunamis, please stay far far away from me.

Cameron Highlands Trek
It's kinda hard to put the trek experience into words. All I can describe is we're climbing roots after roots, branches after branches, and all the while stepping on soft soggy mud (as you can see from the pictures below) for about 6 hours. damn tiring, considering that shuhui and i didn't sleep a wink the night before and ended up playing the "guess what song is plaing on my mp3 now" game.
and for two days after the trek, i couldn't climb stairs without hurting my knees and worse still, i can't sit on the toilet bowl without wincing in pain hahahaa!
but i think the whole experience is an eye-opener indeed. :) it really trains my determination and the will to keep going when the going gets tough. heh. i'll try other mountains next time, but before that i must train!!
Few days before my trip, it's a usual meetup with the quartet gang to watch ice age 3.

its an art exhibit actually. a very tall lady with shopping bags.

moved on to geyland for supper after that and we managed to find the famous dim sum restaurant. :) 2 thumbs up! it's not very cheap but tastes great!

What is that?
A Greek short film that says a lot with just three words.
P.S: Just came back from Cameron highlands yesterday, and feeling like a 80 year old granny. haha. but the pain was worth the experience. :)
