Our budget trip to Perth on jetstar amounts to $165 per person (inclusive of all taxes and surcharges and two person sharing one checked-in luggage space). I think in the near future I'll take more flights than taxis in a year haha! When the prices drop to less than 50 bucks to fly to neighbouring countries muahaha!

all bright and cheery for our pre-grad trip hahaha!

Lasagne @ the airport in a restuarant named 'breakfast.lunch.dinner'

Rented a Nissan Tiida with an amazingly huge boot to stuff our luggages in!

Our trusty GPS system aka guardian angel for this trip

Beautiful bare trees

First stop: Swan ValleyThis pottery shop is located just beside the visitor's centre, and this lady here is really patient in explaining the process of crafting clay into a piece of art. :)

Swan Valley's visitor's centre. Very friendly people inside! We loved the in-depth explanation on how to navigate the area, plus personal recommendations on where to get the best eats.

Along the way you'll find horses, cows and kangaroos greeting you everywhere you go

Mondon Nougat Factory, located along Swan Valley road, with its cute lil red car :D

Margaret River Chocolate Factory!!!! Free chocolate tastings - unlimited.

What's Swan Valley without the endless wineries? You'll never get out sober once you step in here (unless you are the driver of the car haha!)

Cheap but good quality wines galore!
Next stop: Fremantle, a city near perth, just 20minutes drive away

Grocery shopping is always the best part of any trip - we made our own breakfast!

Famous Fremantle Markets - a huge area of shops selling anything from shirts to food to boomerangs to handicrafts.

Hungry for some fish & chips?

There you go! Crispy, pippin' hot and lips-smacking delicious. Make sure you eat them before the seagulls do.

Coupled with an amazing view of the harbour!

I can't help but post more of these beautiful pictures

Another of Perth's markets - we went crazy over their macadamia nuts

**special thanks to cherm for the pics!
