old friends, new experiences

I have came to realise that one of the ways to keep the friendship bond going strong, one must have interesting never-done-before activities to keep things exciting. For instance, on the 1st of jan, jm, siew and I went to the gaming arena in cineleisure level 9 and played guitar hero!!! wooots! it was undeniably fun. gameplay is easy to grasp and within minutes, both of them are beating my score like nobody's business. my fingers short leh. =/

AND yesterday siew, bing, sonia and i played guitar hero world tour marathon at sonia's house again! =/ almost 7 hours worth of guitar hero, can you believe it? my wrists hurt SO much today that i couldn't even bend them without screaming in pain O.o i'm rather sick of guitar hero now, though i still find it addictive. hahaa.

Okay i overshot. Let me start from the afternoon when I met my fellow galers! =)


new year day lunch at miss clarity cafe =) that's fish cordon bleu by the way. looks small but believe it or not, i was contentedly full when i'm done with it



hopped over to mind cafe after lunch. here's yizhen and me holding the purple puppet for taboo. it's super funny to act out actions using that puppet.



my flash's being too bright again =/ but this outing was really fun! boardgames brings out the funny side of everyone. haha! I have a mind cafe voucher for munchies! anyone wants to go?



met up with jm and siew after that to discuss business. (and have dinner at ala meem. haha) their kway teow pattaya is to-die-for



candid. jm's being the usual glutton he is again. "ehh this looks nice leh. let's order this. and this looks good too! not enough la. order more!"



here comes our guitar hero mania. =D

before watching seven pounds the movie, we went to shokudo for dessert and fried mushrooms



mango kakigori! it's quite nice lah, though i miss azabu sabo's haha okay i'm biased

we played with a bit of money and ended up winning/losing less than 2 bucks after 4 hours? hahaa! which is quite good cos we get the excitement of playing with money, and yet we don't win/lose much. heh



i think i was the overall winner



and so... we moved on to risk!



risk is fun and challenging at the same time! i like strategy games =D



poor jm's troops got eliminated by us till he left one pathetic soldier, which was soon killed too. hahaha
