New year

happy new year to one and all!

I think this year's new year i've wished the most people 'happy new year' because I kept spamming the TV's sms greetings with generic messages to all since there weren't much smses coming in. heh. that's the good part about being a moderator. lol

so... new year resolutions/wishes?

the same old stuff about running more often, eating at least one fruit per day, sleeping early, spending more time with family, increase net wealth, going overseas etc, along with more intangible but with far greater consequences resolutions like make wiser decisions, think horizontally, vertically, laterally, diagonally (you get the drift), be more well-prepared, create more creative juices and be spontaneous (my tutees are good in that) and so on.

One of my major resolutions will be to gain more knowledge from all areas of life, whether it is guitar playing or something i get out of a book, i shall be more inquisitive :D

and i plan to do some community work this year, as part of my service learning process as I embark on YEP projects. :)

and of course, to learn as much as i can during my internship period, giving it my best shot and knowing that every thing i do, no matter how small, will help me in a long way!

last but not least, have faith, in myself and others, because they are the ones who make life worth living. :)

Boardgames mania later with my freshies & seniors! I've been waiting my entire hols to play boardgames and finally i get my chance. heh.

Happy 2009, everybody! May you have exciting resolutions to fulfill this year and don't hesitate to start! For me, some wacky resolutions will be to try something new, like squash or have a mushroom pot buffet. haha! and oh, i MUST learn how to thread water!
