Yong Tao Fu at 1am

You can never imagine where I am now.

I'm currently sitting in a hawker centre in Bukit Merah, waiting for dear Daddy to queue for the supposedly VERY famous Yong Tao Fu that will take about an hour to reach me =( Luckily i managed to tap into some unknowing person's wireless (don't worry i'll not go anything illegal) and thus am curing boredom (and hunger) by blogging now. heehee.

i think i'm onto watching movies online now. Just watched Madagascar 2 yesterday when i'm camping at bestie's house, and now i'm catching snippets of Love Actually. =) a very very heart-warming movie that is very real =)

working as a sms moderator in mediacorp is certainly quite an eye-opener. because having your smses displayed on national TV is a serious issue, we act as filters to filter stuff that you shouldn't be seeing on national tv. which brings me to a few realizations:

1. Singaporeans have too much money on hand. Each SMS costs $1 and i see people sms-ing the SAME THING non-stop for about 30 times! i can memorise some of them already.

2. Most people either don't know how to spell correctly or they have problems keying in the words accurately on their phones. 'Marry Christmas' for instance

3. This is a tool for love declarations. It's fast becoming like valentine's day

4. Occasionally, some smses really touched you, like one with someone searching for a person who went missing ten years ago. and another from a daughter whose father is in a coma right now, and all she wants for christmas is for him to wake up and recover.

5. Maple and audi and zero online are so popular that people are using their characters' names online as their identification in their smses. it's like second life. scary =/

6. So far, about 30 people have told me that Luo Zhi Xiang (xiao zhu - the taiwanese host whom i personally like too =D) is releasing an album on the 26th of dec. such hardcore fans.

so. let's see what else i have to say. actually i can't think of anything except that i hope the yong tao fu is really worth the effort and all. =/ this has to be the longest yong tao fu queue i've ever seen man. hahaa!

Merry Xmas in advance to everyone!! =) spread the loveeee
