just when i needed you most

when the rest say, "sorry, don't have", my dear bestie said without hesitation, "i can lend you mine!"

even though it's her only laptop, even though she might need it for her lab projects, even though it will trouble her bringing it out to lend me, even though i didn't manage to talk to her for weeks now, she showed me that she cares.

just when i'm very desparate to get a laptop to tide me through today's briefing at mediacorp, and getting very discouraged at the replies i'm getting, she appeared in the midst of all her busy projects and everything, and saved my life. =)

a simple act of kindness, but touched me in more ways than one.

everyone needs an angel sometime. =)

people! do sms to channel 5, U or 8 anyday (evening to night) from 22nd dec to 1st Jan! =D you'll see the scroller thingy on those days. but please do it more often on 23rd dec, 29th dec and 31st dec! hee hee. cos i'll be moderating your smses! =D spread the love but no vulgarities please. you'll just waste your $1. heh.

I think i'm really lucky to be able to get slots on days which i'm free. was praying hard that i won't kena 24-28 dec cos those evenings i'll have something on, which means i'll have to cancel it or hope that someone takes my slot. phew. and my slot of 31 dec is only an hour from 7-8pm, so i still get to countdown! yippeee :D

on an another happy note, had a self-pampering session today with (an about-to-be-sick) shuhuiii!! eyebrow threading, 20 bucks facial and a satisfying sakae dinner! =) i can't stop touching my face to feel the 'bounce' after facial, which resulted in a lot of giggles from her. hahaha!
