My tutee Huiyun (pri 2): Jing Jing Jie Jie! Can you give me a hug?

Me: (surprised) sure!

and i proceeded to give her a big hug and devised a secret handshake with her =)

awww. some kids really know how to work their ways into your heart.

i'll really miss her a lot when i stop tuition end of this month. such a sensible kid, sometimes too mature for her own good. but she's really really sweet. :)

something that joyce quoted today made me think a lot - "it was a wrong time when everything seemed right."

don't we all experience that feeling ever so often now and then? From impulsive buys to important decisions made. No one is certain of what certain decisions might bring, or what will happen tomorrow or the day after, but always know that life has its surprises in store for you. you just need to be able to spot them and appreciate them. =)

afterall, there are always lessons learnt and new knowledge gained. and always have hope for the future!
