Let me start from the sentosa chalet which was supposed to be a belated birthday celebration for 3. but two of them didn't turn up (couldn't blame them cos we didn't tell them haha!) so it ended up becoming my birthday celebration instead! which was quite apt too, since the people i invited are all my friends. haha! too bad i couldn't invite more, as the chalet is really pretty small. =/ (imagine a normal hotel room)
but the experience was surreal though. =) i got my wish of having my friends sing 'happy birthday' to me, and i felt really really loved at that time :)
let's bring on the pictures!

gift from chrys and ling-er =) 'grown-up' ribena - aka blackberries wine. it tasted really sweet, and had a nice smell to it too

my mahjong table was put to good use haha

derrick's fascination with the TV

everyone else was too, except me

thanks so much for readily agreeing to come when i first asked! =) you two don't know how much it meant to me

we played charades and pictionary late into the night! it was hilariously fun, with all the weird words like 'beard papa cream puffs' and 'bubble tea'. this is siew's drawing of.... Jay Chou!!!!

thank you galers! this was really unexpected! =) and i love the melody too, it's Cat's memory :D :D :D how did you all know i love that song?

my galers - my first and only batch of freshies - cum seniors. =)

mahjong mania - good for rainy weather like that day. =/ i didn't touch the sand and sea at all, can you believe it??

moi cake :D

make a wish

all smiles :)

the galers who stayed - thanks so much guys!

the quartet kakis who always crack me up wherever, whenever. haha! we are missing an important member - victoria!

two (out of three - bestie not there! :( ) loud chatterboxes whom i can have endless conversations prepped with hilarious laughs and all in high volume too. =D we do make a din in public, but who cares? they love me!

kekeke

the aunties! mich, siya and cuicui! they are all siew's besties haha. thanks for sticking around and thrashing me in bridge lol!! but i learnt a lot at night. bridge, anyone? :D

and of course, the SB2 buddies :) the core of many happy memories and without miss mieh, i will have no one to have steamboat cravings with, to talk about whatever, to confess many things, to satisfy weird fetishes with, and basically to havoc with me. :D we are the silliest people on earth!

deliciously happy :D

siew: "this looks like a production line in the factory."

old friends, new times :)
Randomness

my all new real christmas tree that sways!! hahaha =D it will bounce its leaves if someone touches it. so jumpy

my first ever trip to wala wala with jc class peeps, after so many failed attempts! and i love it on the spot! heh. :D the live music, people, pizzas, chicken wings, everything!

yeah the chicken wings :D

mahjong session at curtiz's house - me being the 'advisor' though i was on phone most of the time, sorry guys!! had to discuss some youth expedition project stuff with mavis :) this task is really daunting (1001 things to consider! i bet there's more than that), with both of us being new leaders and all. i don't have much confidence in pulling it off, but i will try my best. :)

my cooking fetishes this holidays. lasagne! i bet you don't know what the hell it is.

extremely salty. =/

10 dollars KTV lounge's shark's fin soup. it tasted quite good! it's a good place actually, if you can find it. haha! there's good food below too, with the food street just at the foot of the building. yums :D

we love to sing :D

5 hours is totally not enough, though we both had a mike throughout. hahaa

shall not elaborate lol!

debut trip to heartland malls with shuhui! our first stop is AMK hub, and we ate at sumo house, which claims to have the cheapest japanese fare in singapore. haha! with their katsu don at $2.90 (before GST), i wouldn't be surprised! but my friend warned me not to eat that though. try their udon, it's quite nice :D tempura's okay too.

yummy gyoza, though i suspect it's those instand kind. well, i cook it all the time at home. haha

my soba set. :) cost me $5.90. the noodles are so-so, but the tempura passed!

last thursday, went to meet the two of the quartet (vick and jm) for present-making! happy 21st, david hong! haha. thanks for being a wonderful friend, joining us in many outings etc and having tons of fun together!

as usual, vick and i did all the work and jm sat there complaining that he doesn't know what to write. LOL

okay lah, he should be in the picture too haha! our permanent chauffeur. outings wouldn't happen without your car! haha

we are so proud of our work

did i mention i love ding tai feng's sour & spicy soup?
David hong's 21st!
we took some time figuring out the way to his house but once we are there, it was great to catch up with the band people! :D david's mom is so cute, showing us photos and telling us all sorts of childhood stories of david LOL! and she attempted to matchmake too! tsk tsk

entertaining ourselves while waiting for the food. haha!

the band peeps! =) from top: lisa, suyi, vick, me, yyt!

you know, the bollywood thing.

congrats dear! shine in KPMG yeah! :D

the standard 'key' cake

quartet in full force

too bad we didn't dare to smash his face into the cake hahaa

our picnic cum ktv gang today haha!

OH david has this niece who is absolutely adorable. she'll go around giving people cake with an all-too-innocent look. ahh i had to withhold myself for pinching her haha

i think her name is mavis. hahaha!

went to the coffee club @ clarke quay to chill out with siew, vick and jm after the party. that's my strawberry chocolate blended! i think it's a new item and it's in my fave drinks list (in coffee club) now!

wedges! i don't like the sour cream though. can't they give tar tar sauce like everyone else? haha
i'm gonna check on my green tea cheesecake now. i pray it's gonna turn out okay! if not jm and yyt will not have a homemade birthday cake =(
