yesterday was quite an exciting night, with siew and i eating the most expensive chicken rice ever in chatterbox at meritus mandarin - $22, but at half price because of a coupon siew has. haha! the service was quite lousy though, i feel like i'm in a hawker centre instead of a high class restaurant. maybe it's just HK style.
after walking ard town unable to decide what to do next (we were craving for sth sweet), we went to this Duelling Pianos place at Emerald Hill (beside centrepoint) **it's called Howl at the Moon btw, which opened two months ago for drinks and it was a fresh concept and I really like the ambience! =) it's fun, interactive (loads of funny things happened and the pianists were very entertaining haha! of course the crowd was great cos it made up of foreigners mostly and they really go all out to dance and were very daring) The songs played were all funky sing-alongs with a wide range from jambalaya to rock to jazz to country to even the national anthem! HAHA
i have a video clip of the last bit of the anthem played. will upload soon! =D
lunchtime now! more later!
