i've been playing mahjong consecutively for three days in a row now! haha and i forsee tomorrow's house hopping will contain several mahjong elements too =x today i was surprisingly winning and winning! boy, was i shocked haha! what my cousins say is true then. the mindset you bring with when you play is important. lol!
my wealth is accumulating! all thanxs to the ang baos i've gotten. =D =D me is a happy girl!
anyway, just now i was being a typical singaporean, 'kay-pohing' around cos i heard some commotion downstairs and this guy was shouting at a young girl, scolding her stupid and all sorts of other stuff. O.o hey, its 130am in the morning and if you want to scold your daughter you jolly well do it in the daytime. even my neighbour also poked his head out in curiousity. haha!
i felt quite sad for the girl though. i think she's an innocent victim of her drunk dad or something. and she's crying like nobody's business man. yeah, i do feel the urge to slap her father if i really see him. and i think i'll really do it if he's in front of me. who cares if he'll hit back. i'll beat some sense into him man GRRR. -punch- come to think of it, i've never really fought (physically) with anyone before. and primary school fights over a pencil case doesn't count. =P maybe i should put the kickboxing lessons to good use. wahahaha! beware the karate jing!
i think fighting and defense are really important. you never know when it'll come in handy. =x
so thankful that my dad is a nice guy and all. apart from buying 4D and toto every week, he's a great dad! =D upbringing really impacts a person's life in the future. i hope the little kid is fine now.
