met up with grace for a pre-birthday celebration and she bought me the charms for my mobile phone! =D yayyy its always so exciting when i'm with her because we always tease each other at weird times! hahahaa accompanied her for some shopping and we realised she always spends alot while shopping with me! HA! i'm a catalyst for economic growth hee hee!

On the eve of my birthday i was sms-ing siew and wanted to go to sleep at 12.30am, but my friend benjamin called to wish me happy birthday and ask about some gossip thingy about a friend that is utterly confusing so i shall not talk about it haha! then, DAVID called! haha i had to put my friend on hold and david was so convincing in his talk about where to eat on sunday's gathering that my friend hung up and i continued talking to DAVID till like 1am cos i was too 'pai seh' to hang up and whenever i tried to hint to him that i'm gonna sleep, he ignored me and continued to ramble on!!! yes david, you are hellva good crapper hahaha!
anyhoos, i was already gonna fall asleep on my bed when david suddenly say, "hey, i left something at your doorstep just now, can you take a look at it?"
being very sleepy and light-headed, of course i believed him and went to open the door while staring at the floor outside.
to my utmost surprise, i saw three pairs of feet there!
hahahaha yep the trio (siew, bing and david) came to my house to surprise me!!! hahaa at 1am somemore -_-"' yah its supposed to be midnight but some stuff were stalled according to bing. hahaa! more specifically his dad's car LOL
=D i'm so extremely happy!!! totally didn't expect it and major thanks to my wonderful friends!!! you all are the best lah =D

on a slightly random note, i bought a pair of flats from heatwave on my birthday! haha =) love the velvet material!
went to work as usual on my birthday (sad right lol. and my company is supposed to have some wish day grant on the day of their employees birthdays oh well) and i went to CommunicAsia with my colleagues!! =D shall blog about that later because i'm supposed to write a report for my boss and i've decided to do it on blogger as i can incorporate the pictures in it. anyway he's always been a consistent reader of my blog, right mr ang? =D
oh did i mention i might be a copywriter next time? hmm...
anyway, i met bestie aka wen after work for a posh dinner buffet at The Melt Cafe in Oriental hotel!!! burnt a really big hole in my pocket ($149 for two before discount, $126 after discount) and i nearly fainted when i looked at the bill hahaha! goodness, how can a glass of iced lemon tea be $12??!!!!! =( okay i understand that its a reputable hotel so i guess it explains the price haha. the service was wonderful though =D had a very filling meal with their international cuisine and superb dessert! i tell you their desserts are a killer =D must try!!!
too bad i didn't have any photos for this cos i was scared they might have some policies regarding photo-taking and stuff hee. you never know!

Melissa bought this tofu stuffed toy after lunch! she and joey treated me to sakae for my birthday present! whee =) thanks girls hee.
its named cloudy by the way. looks like a cheerful cloud right? haha! it was born with a birthmark too (long story) lol. i love it so much! =P

went to settler's cafe at clark quay with lorraine and wanwei after work that day! =D another post-birthday celebration haha. they really crack me up like crazy man! i think i laughed almost every minute when talking to them hahaha! too bad wen's not there if not we would bring the cafe down by talking and laughing too loudly hee hee!
so glad that i got to know them one year ago!

finally i spent half a day sleeping late and enjoying the feeling of being at home haha! =) went to meet the CS peeps for dinner in the evening! =D

popped over to california fitness with siew after one week! haha managed to do weights, cardio and a latino jam class! the latter was super interesting and i sweated like crazy haha! the instructor's so sexy and hot! (in a latino way =D) and her dance moves were good, just that i don't think i danced very well haha! still, i loved it! =)
went to meet my jc classmates after that and found them playing arcade in cine -_- haha! we went to watch this absolutely morbid movie 'death proof' which siew and i walked out after like half an hour. =x sorry guys but the movie doesn't suit us, with all the killings, f-word every five seconds etc lol
