Once upon a time, not very long ago (about one day ago), a girl (me) who just finished bathing came out of the toilet and found this huge cockroach crawling aimlessly into the kitchen in broad daylight! well, it was night time but all the lights were on!
SO. the girl was more or less stunned but kept her cool and walked out of the kitchen and closed the doors behind her so that the roach will be stuck in the kitchen. but due to the girl's overwhelming curiousity (and stupidity), she decided to open the doors after awhile to check on the cockroach. =x
and what happens?
she slowly slides open the door while peeking around the kitchen. hmm... no traces of cockroach around. where is it?
she then continue sliding the door open. no sign of it yet. then she looks down and screams. the cockroach is right there infront of her feet!
yes yes, she was screaming like hell and jumped about a foot high, thus scaring the cockroach too. and that's the first time the girl saw a cockroach jump. well, she never wants to see it again anyway. =x
and you won't want to know what happens next but let us jump to the next day which is today! Knowing that the roach is not killed yet, she braces herself to wait for it to walk out and true enough, it appears behind her chair! so the mighty daddy came into the picture and used the girl's slipper to whack it. -_-
that's the end of the story
but!
here are some readers' comments
siew: oh, it has wings and it flies? it must be a mother cockroach
jing: why would a mother cockroach come into my house?
siew: because its MOTHER'S DAY!

huiwen: oh oh! you should get newspapers and roll them and whack it!
jing: no i don't dare! my aiming sucks anyway
huiwen: then what do you usually use to kill insects?
jing: yellow pages
huiwen: WHAT! yuck! i will never ever touch your yellow pages ever again!
jing: hey, yellow pages are useful okay. so are textbooks. heavy ones i mean *grins*
huiwen: then they'll be squashed like pancakes! YUCKS
