Updates!!!

i'm lazy to do full sentence updating so here goes my attempt at using point forms heh!

new yr's eve

- submitted lab report finally! went straight back to bed after that at 9am and slept till around 1pm haha!
- trying to do last minute tidying up of house, in the end i just shoved everything under my bed! -grins-
- got huge huge ang baos from my parents, granny and some relatives! THANK YOU! =) but i realised as the years go by, the value of the red packets just doesn't seem to matter much anymore. i guess i knew i could earn that amount easily too. still! it feels good getting ang baos =D i'm not complaining!


first day of lunar new year

- watched like four hours worth of hana kimi (hua yang shao nian shao nu) with my cuzzies and its rather amusing at how we watched. my male cuzzies were crowded around my desktop watching live streaming while me and my younger female cuzzie guled our eyes to my laptop! hahaa...
- lost an ang bao from one of my aunts!! but found it eventually =P my mistake! hahaha
- believe it or not, i cooked dinner for 16 people!!!!!!!! i'm serious. i was in the kitchen since like 12 and i was the main chef of the day! =) oh, but i didn't know how to peel ginger and my granny had to teach me =x hee hee hee.. and i poured too much martell vsop into the fish head soup! it tastes more like drunken fish head than fish head soup. LOL -winces-
- but everything turned out too salty in the end =x the egg especially. hahahaa my dad was commenting that i'm trying to kill people -____-"' fineeee


second day of lunar new year

- popped over to my 2nd aunt's house on my mom's side! =)
- the most memorable thing there was me being stuffed with food till i almost burst. hahaha! i ate bee hoon, then had some dessert thing, a lot of new yr goodies, then dinner, then two servings of ice cream! goodness! but all the food were delicious!!!! love them =)
- played poker!!! as usual, the betting price is $2 per try. which is rather high if u ask me, cos i've lost like $30++ before in the past =( however, i was the "zhuang" when i got "ban luck"! so i earned quite a but! yay!!! =)
- watched alot of hong kong drama serials as my cuzzie have cable! very interesting! haha
- my uncle sorta reminded me that most of my cuzzies were attached (one even brought her boyfriend to my aunt's house) while giving me my ang bao and he openly declared cheekily, "so! you got boyfriend or not? Don't bluff ah!!" i almost fainted on the spot! its like, i'm still 19 (yes going on 20 but NOT YET) and i feel like a 30 year old hag!!!!! =( =( =( how saddening. i thought these kind of questions are only reserved for people who are above 30???!!!! oh well. i answered truthfully no and attributed the reason to mass comm fac having very little guys. wahahahaa! he looked rather stumped though. tee hee hee...
- another uncle says that i look like the hong kong actress pan ying ying. wonder is it a compliment or what. hahaha cos i dunno who she is!


third day of lunar new year

- had the pleasure of waking up very late again! =)
- gran's friends came and they all thought i'm in year 3 already =P
- met siew to go town and we went kino etc... town was so crowded on that day!
- saw reg by coincidence!!! hahaha! =D
- oh i bought a nice little notebook with two cups of yummy-looking coffee on its cover. haha!
- we went to jack's place to eat after shopping around. i love orchard's jack's place! their service is always so good and i'm more than satisfied! =) bliss~
- watched protege after that!! =D it was damn nice! andy lau's acting is superb man! it's like, i was totally into the movie and it was really interesting how they portray the making of heroin, the delivery of goods and also how they grow the opium flowers in thailand... so cool! =)
- went over to siew's house after that to "bai nian". we attacked her tub of ben & jerrys and yes, it's very sinful =x but absolutely heavenly!!!
- poor siew's aircon's dripping water.. hope it gets better soon! hee hee!


today!

- my 106 speech went well! =) at least its over and done with haha! i'm happy! thank you waisan for accompanying for the whole of today! go see doctor okay, if not we'll really kena the i-infect-you-you-infect-me thing haha!
- went home and headed out again to go visit some other relatives!
- after which i went to huiwen's house! =) best friends will always be best friends because no matter how long i've not talked to her, we'll still bond like anything when we see each other! yayyy~ =D i think we were so animated that the neighbours were thinking why are we so noisy! hahahaa! that silly girl bought her new nokia N73 and doesn't know how to lock the keypad! hahahahahaha! i was really laughing my head off =P
- am in a very good mood because its recess week next week! though i know i'll have to spend most of my time doing projects, but it's still a holiday break! =) wheee~



there are some things only lovers can accomplish. for everything else, there's always friends =)
