gonna be a long update cos i realised that so many things happened within these few days! haha
I went to Vivo City with daddy on wednesday last week and we were starving when we reached so we went to this kolo mee shop (the famous sarawak noodles) and my dad kept calling the noodles "kok kok mee" cos he said in the olden days hawkers use wooden claps to make a "kok kok" sound so that people will notice them! ha! so interesting lol! but its really YUMMY!!! lots of ingredients too! like prawns, wantons, char siew and many more! all for $5.90! heh. =D

then we walked and walked around while he tried to find his fave crocodile shop -_-"' i saw the new GAP store!!! super cool! even daddy says the clothes are nice haha! i like the grey GAP pullover but daddy says its for men and too big for me. =( oh well. hahaa i find the rooftop playground rather unique though. so many children playing at the pond-but-became-a-pool place haha. and i saw many kids using cardboards to slide on the little green hill! so fun =D i also want to play!

ohh and i tell you, food republic's food is delicious too! :D especially their you tiao and beancurd!!!! absolutely mouth-watering! the beancurd is soooo smooth and sweet! i ate the special fishballs there too! hahaa my dad bought one bowl of fishballs and nothing else! lol. and their hokkien mee is good too!
had a really really great time there :) not just because i finally got to see what vivocity is like, but to be able to stroll in a shopping mall with my daddy in ages! i realised in all the months that past, there were times which i am so engrossed in work and school that i forgot about my family. being able to be daddy's girl again in vivocity made me cherish the times together more! =)

i don't usually go around chasing stars and that was my first time so my photographic skills were rather lousy! =x hahaa... enjoy! we all had a nice meal at kenny rogers after that! =D hey, come to think of it, i haven't got my 20 bucks. i totally forgot about it! never mind, i miss kenny roger's marcaroni and cheese!! yum~
okay, moving on! :)
my first day at work at MoS was spent feeling rather lonely though. i guess its partially my fault cos i didn't take the initiative to strike up a conversation with the rest of the girls (yup, cashiers in MoS are all female! haha) and i'm still trying to get used to that kind of environment. :) thank goodness siew came at 7 plus and bought dinner for me and her co-workers! yayyyy~ i'm glad that lyna brought me around, explaining all the stuff to me and senior cashiers there were nice too. =)
really really thankful to have jieying (same name as my cuzzie!) to be my mentor for the day! haha.. she's really easy-going and loves lame jokes alot! =P and i have the company of alvina (aka door bitch in clubbing terms but she's really really nice) who stood beside me helping me stamp the customers hands. :) we were in charge of one of the cover cahrge counters for the day and boy, all the hell broke loose when people started coming in. we were so busy that i totally lost track of time and i can't believe the SHEER amount of ppl coming into MoS. =x oh yeah i met joanne, libby and rach they all too! haha =) i saw lots of transsexuals too, and i have to admit they were stunning. seriously, i feel i'm not "woman" enough standing infront of them. haha
well, had a lot of interesting experiences and yes, although we were all deadbeat (like gonna collapse that kind. its damn tiring i tell you!) by morning 7am, i still have energy to eat prata with siew! hahahaha very eventful day!
gonna work again tomorrow. ladies night! :D find me at the cover charge counter! (i think. hahaha)
OH! after that day i worked (friday night) i went home and slept till like 4pm! hahaa.. then i went to meet wanwei in town on saturday evening! =) we were so excited cos she just finished her exams and i've not been in town on a sat since ages ago! hahaa we kept walking and talking and finally eating at the 24 hour cafe in cineleisure. =D we talked till midnight and i took NR3 home haha!
so i was quite exhausted by sunday morning but i have to wake up at 6am to help out at the standard chartered run event for foc canvassing! =x i had to really drag myself up and took a cab down in the end cos i was really really late. haha. made it in time! =) we got free t-shirts! wanwei and i went to the drinks stall to help out and we had a clear view of the finishing part so we get to see all the action live! haha. seriously the runners were all so pro, finishing 42.195km!!! i have the sudden urge to participate in next year's run and wanwei promised to accompany me too! hahahaa. i wonder will we really do it. have to train alot!!! well, daddy says he can do up a training plan for me cos he did marathons before.
but i ran with him before and he's scary lah! i mean, after 3km i'm already trying to keep up with his pace and he didn't even sweat much. Grrrr. maybe i should just cycle. heeheehee
kudos to all the runners! i salute you! =D
so after helping out i'm almost dreaming that i had a bed beside me and i could just flop down on it. =x wanted to go shopping with wanwei and lor bak, but the thought of sleep is more alluring (sorry!!) hahaa so in the end after walking around with wanwei for half an hour finding a stupid bus stop (long story) and screaming when seeing lor bak after so long (loud chatterboxes unite!) i finally went home and slept straight for 12 hours! hahahaa
so on monday i went out for dinner with huiwen cos that silly girl finally completed her exams!!!!! =D yayyy holidays has officially started! whoooopie! we went to plaza sing to shop before going to khublai khan BBQ mongolian cum international buffet!!!!!!! XD its located at park mall, which is ver near town but very ulu because no one ever goes to park mall so we decided to give it a try!
and i must say i'm very satisfied!!!! =D you all should really go there someday! free flow of food like sashimi (i can hear screams. its really fresh from what huiwen says cos i don't eat sashimi haha!) chilli crabs, different kinds of salads, spag, soup with the nicely baked crust on top, shark fins soup (YES its not your illusion) vietnamese spring rolls, mongolian bbq, steaks, dory fish, desserts like herbal jelly, cheese cakes, puddings, ice creams, fruits AND most importantly, CHOCOLATE FONDUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
and its heavenly. i'm not joking.
dinner is $25 nett per person for students and NS men and there's free drinks too! worth your money once in awhile if you wanna eat a wide range of food and the quality there is good compared to other buffets around. =D what are you waiting for???? hahaha
then huiwen came my house to stay over after that and we had a vcd marathon today!! =D thanks to wanwei for lending me 'the magician's love' aka 爱情魔发师 to watch! i love it hahaa.. it has a lot of depth actually and some parts really made me cry =x still halfway through it! gonna complete it by tomorrow! hahaa
okay! update completed finally! =D
one month left till start of school! time flies...
放下心里的包袱，这样才过得快乐一些 :)
