so many things...

been rather busy recently... heh. watched 'step up' movie with huiwen on friday night! its awesome i tell you. =D the dance moves were so dynamic and i almost felt compelled to sign up for some dance classes after that haha! but i love the way they integrate ballet's smooth and elegant moves into hip-hop and thus formed a new genre of dance steps. :) feel like watching material girls next! hahaa.. chick flick!

then saturday was spent studying with huiwen again! we hopped to jurong east library only to find out that at 11am (can you believe it?) the library has no empty tables (or chairs or benches for that matter) left! grrrrrr. why are singaporean kids so hard-working? now i know why new libraries are popping up all over singapore. =) well, we managed to find some tiny space and shared a circular bench with some other secondary students and studied for awhile before heading to jurong foodcourt to makan!

the surprising thing is that we found out that the food court is a rather conducive place because of the spacious seats and the right lighting. XD serious! tried and tested by us too! hahaa on a saturday somemore... i think we sat there from like 1pm to 7pm. =D actually i think the constant buzz from the people all around makes me concentrate more cos it has a feeling of something constantly changing. whereas library at times are too cold, too quiet and it just makes me sleep. zzzz. well, interesting experiment anyway. haha! but i really REALLY get pissed off by the occasional kiddos who come by with her mommies and aunties and scream and shout like the world's collasping. and there's this little girl who dragged her whole bag of instruments into the foodcourt and started playing the triangle thingy. it was okay at first till she started playing her mini drums AND she realised that combining both makes good music! -faints-

haha okay enough of foodcourt episodes. i watched channelnewsasia last night (my companion every night hee hee.) and there's this show which is called Life - The game that started showing. it is some reality-cum-research show that have two parts. first is the host will get six random couples (friends or lovers) in the whole new york city and give them 100bucks and tell them to find a mysterious couple in the whole city without giving ANY hints. sounds silly right? i think the aim of this experiment is to show that research shows if you get anyone around any place and ask them to wander about, the chances are all of them will end up around the same place. which is true cos of all the six couples they found, they all started on different ends of the city but all wandered to the statue of liberty at 12 noon! so weird right?? hahaa.

the next experiment they did was to find 8 obese people. they were asked to wear bikinis and swimming trunks and had professional photographers take pictures of them. then they were told to lose 15 pounds in two months, if not their pictures will be shown on national television. O.o scaryyyy right? well, tune in next saturday at 12 midnight for the next half of the show! =D

anyway, the aim of the show is to tell us that life is like a game. there are choices to be made, whether you want to be part of it or not. sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but we will always end up at the same spot, no matter where you started out.

oh and i watched the final two episodes of meteor garden 2 at the wee hours of 2am yesterday too! hahaa. seems like the city of barcelona is a must-go place! all the bull-fightings and fountain water drinking. :) spain - all the colours, vibrancy, romance, relaxation and life - i love!

jia you everyone!! only erm, 3 more days till exams! goodness, i want more timeeee :(

P/S: having the itch to play mahjong. haha. very random i know...
