went to huiwen's house on friday night to stayover and brought along a stack of 102 lecture notes with me but in the end i ended up watching alot of TV and only studied like 3 pages of readings. =x woke up damn early on saturday morning (read: 5am) to wash up and prepare to board the bus at 6am! =D exciting!
haha.. the whole tour consisted of 29 people which is quite little so we we able to clear customs and stuff rather quickly. i got scolded by the malaysian customs for not updating my photo =( okay but i admit i do look very different from eight years ago. hahaha! shall do the new biomatric passport soon. =)
i realised i really love road trips. i can stare out the bus window for hours and not feel bored. or rather, i can sleep three hours straight and only wake up when the bus is heading for a rest stop. hee hee hee. =) thank goodness for my ipod though, if not i'll be bored to pieces. we were quite excited at first when we first entered JB but after passing tons of trees and more trees, we decided that sleep is a better choice. =P
we visited places like pineapple planation (i swear the pineapples are heavenly!! they don't have the stinging sensation and tastes sweet too! YUM), coconut sweet planation, famous local supermarkets that sell stuff like ipoh "ma ti su" and many other places.
we had lunch at this seaview restaurant and their seven-course meal was delicious!!! =D how i wish i can have it everyday. haha! i love their sweet-and-sour tofu, fried fish in lemon, potato and pork ribs soup and many many others!
the tour guide brought us to the new huge shopping mall jusco in JB after lunch and we shopped till our heart's content. =) they really sell very unique one-of-a-kind clothes which you will never find in singapore!!! too bad i didn't bring enough cash =x heh. never mind, i'll go back again someday! =D
then we had dinner at some seafood restaurant and we each had a mini lobster to eat!!! XD on top of that, we ate chilli crabs, steamed fish, curry chicken and many many more!
what a fulfilling (yes, very filling literally haha!) day!
made me feel like going on alot of trips during hols. hahahaha!
sunday was spent at home slacking and sleeping and also watching the korean movie, my sassy tutor. haha!
of course i did study for 102 quiz okay. =P
anyway, felt really relieved that i was able to answer today's mid-terms questions quite accurately. =x today's been quite hectic too. had 102 mid-terms in the morning, followed by booth setting again outside canteen A with our dear moaning bear, lecture at 430pm and finally rushing to orchard for tuition. =/
thanxs lots to charlotte for sharing with me sooo many songs! =D what goes around comes around! hahaha
quite happy that we are able to raise about $1300++ for our project. =) it's a success!!! our hard work finally paid off! hee hee...
tuition was okay too. had a crapping session with my tutee and she wondered why anyone would need to know math when there's this thing called calculators. well, i told her you can't take thngs for granted and there are so many things which a calculator cannot do and only your common sense can help you. wahahaa. =)
