Gotham Penthouse

ahh. i'm still alive! XD

Let me recap what happened yesterday. hahaa. I went town shopping with siew cos she wanted to buy a top for later and i was whining about my empty stomach throughout the whole way. =P LOL. while she's getting her eyelashes done, i went to famous amos cookies and got myself a nice, not-so-little double choc chip muffin =) yum~

We ta-paoed some dim sum snacks and rushed back to her house cos she have to go to her tutee's house soon. hahaa. then i used the precious time to snore my way through 1.5hours. =D

we left her house and reached gotham penthouse in clark quay at 11 plus i think. heh. the place is quite cosy with LCD screens showing tennis matches (rather out of point though) but what i like most about the place is the fantastic music!!!!!!! XD XD but what libby said is true, i do see quite a lot of other races people there. thank goodness its NUS engine bash that day so there's alot of teens too. =)

grats to tzu qun's twin sis for winning the beauty pagent!! XD the guys there are fun too.. had a nice time dancing with them and a very drunk tzu qun! hahaa tsk tsk...

so siew and i decided to test our alcohol limits and ordered quite a number of drinks. =/ i realised i haven't gone to any clubs since like feb this year so it feels like a long time since i drank alcohol. lol

first we got our free vodka limes and dry whiskey, then i tried drinking shots! XD the first one i tried is the sambucca which tasted really minty and it's not bad truthfully though. =) now thinking back, i'm really grateful that i knew i can take hard liquer well, cos right after that shot me and siew drank one jug of long island tea at one go! =x though the name sounds mild, it is quite high in alcohol content and one JUG is rather huge. i must have been quite thirsty hahaa. but i realised i like long island tea! =D its nice!

heh. well i did felt a bit light-headed after that big jug =P but fortunately i was still sane tee hee hee. we joined tzu qun on the dance stage and swayed and swayed to the music =) then after awhile we went to the toilet at 1.30am and when we came out we saw the drunk tzu qun with her friend outside the lockers and she was happily telling us that she's going home hahaha. i helped her find her locker and kept telling her guy friend to take care of her and send her safely home lol.

after tzu qun left, me and siew became rather bored and siew was complaining that she needs more drinks. zzz then we went to the bar and ordered more free vodka shots using our arm bands. =D but i forced siew to drink only cos i'm scared that in case she's drunk i can still send her home lol. well. that girl is rather powerful and still very sane so yah, we become sorta more bored. =x

then the funny thing is that when we went to order more sambucca shots there's these few indian guys beside us and you know what they say?

"You two are a cute couple"

WHAT??????!!!!!!!!!

erm. very funny. hahahahaa

we were quite amused though. hahaha. after the sambucca shots i was telling siew that we are never gonna be drunk so we should stop trying and we went to this place with high sofa seats and started chatting cos all the NUS people are gone already cos its like 2 plus in the morning. lol

it was a nice chat! =) we were just discussing about any and every thing under the sun and mostly about studies and guys. =D while watching the bright neon lights flickering about, i felt really 'shiok' talking my heart out and its like those pit stops in life that you just stop and have a good look at your life now. =) seriously the whole night was worth it just because of the talks and what we've learnt in CS101 is true, words crystalise perceptions and helps us in shaping our life cos you create meanings for what you think.

haha okay okay enough of mambo jambo. =)

all in all, my dad was rather amused at what we drank when he came and sent us home. =D then he was telling us some personal encounters that really cracked us up. wahahahaa.

so i had a good sleep and now i'm gonna have dinner and start preparing for next week's stuff! =)
