yay!! Holidays are officially here!!! =D
was out on saturday night with the AC band peeps, vic, lisa, huiwen, yoon hoe, junming, small david and yong thieng. i've never seen they all for like nearly a year!!! hahahaa. thanks to vic for organising it! next time we can include more ppl too! =) anyway, we were walking around town and eating at crystal jade. then we went to the mooncake fair at the basement of taka and had a fun time shopping for paper laterns! (for the girls at least) hahahaa. seems like we have no childhood right? =P
after that we went kinokuniya and guess who we saw?? our old band teacher paul chong!! =D haha, made us think about old memories and i think we looked very suspicious having 8 people gathered at the magazines section and chatting away. =)
oh! i realised that lisa is in jazz band in nus!! so cool!!! i wanna join one in ntu too la.. but there's none!!! =( SAD. at least in jazz band string basses will have much importance heh! =) never mind, i shall try to search for one. hahaha
and i realised victoria is in cac foc's committee with me!!! *hugs* yay!! we can have fun together in foc! haha!
sunday was spent reading books like "five people you meet in heaven". =) it's really touching and the funny thing is that everytime i read certain sentences or phrases, there will be shivers down my back. its like someone's telling me, "hey, that sentence is very true." it'll be a book that i'll never forget. =) kudos to the author for writing such an inspiring book!! i wanna be like him next time, you know, have original stories that will melt many hearts and change people's life =)
oh and i bought the "the devil wears prada" book too. hahaa. i can't resist chick lits lah! and i'm gonna buy another book by the same author, "everything worth knowing" soon! these are good books for reading when you are bored and have a few laughs too! =)
see? i'm all set to be a bookworm this holidays haha! oh, and vcd-worm too, cos i'm gonna clear all the vcds lorraine lent me. heh heh.
gonna go flying (literally) in an aircraft tomorrow noon!!! cos huiwen's friend is in the singapore youth flying club and he volunteers to give us a free ride!! woohooooo!!! utterly exciting! =D and my dad was their ground school instructor before!!! but that was like ten years ago haha! omg now then i know haha. so interesting! maybe i can go check out his photos in their history gallery or something. hee hee.
okay gonna have lunch now.. woke up really late today. haha! cheers!
