this time round i'm gonna try to shorten my camp entries. =x
let's see...
Day 1
Got a call from anh saying she's back on the taxi on my way to boon lay =) yayyy!! wanted to meet wanwei at the station but she's late lol. so i went to find my group, innu (its dog in japanese lang but then its supposed to be another english word for earth) and met lots of new friends like yizhen, weiling, eunice =) oh, we all got the words 'innu' tattooed on our arms by the hanna thingy. its cool but it kept smudging =P
as usual, we all had ice breaker games though we didn't play much so ultimately i didn't know all the guys names and most of the girls too =x oh we learnt lots of songs like the banana song hahahahhaa. its freaking funny =D
i think the highlight of the day is when we were playing the animal game and dong hao looked lost and the conv goes like this:
him: i must choose an animal?
us: yah
him: hmm.. then i'm stonefish
us: ??? why stonefish?? what action does it do?
him: (giving a stoned look) stone lor
wahahhaa~ that's seriously damn hilarious XD he really kena alot of times cos when people forgot what action to do, they'll stone and say "stonefish". hahaha
after lunch we painted banner and proceed on to more games. we had the tour de NTU thingy and ran like HELL. i had leg cramps straight after running so much -.- and the worst part is i was wearing slippers somemore. arghhh. the puzzles and stations were fun though =) the exciting part was at night when we all had the initiation night thingy. before that they revealed the fake freshie among each OG and the person is actually an OGL. =) we guessed correctly! its our dear chee wee aka wayne haha.
Initiation night in short is cold, stinky but very very amusing. =D some people dislike it but i find it rather interesting. not to say that i like being thrown eggs and flour and whatever disgusting stuff, but the process is amusing =P first we were all blind-folded and sat on the road curb while waiting for our turn to go to the stations. it was fun chatting with the people beside me hahaa. but poor me had to scream "i love innu!!!" as loud as i can before they took me away. -.-"' met some of my OG mates on and off my journey through the stations but most of the time i was with seniors =)
we had to crawl under chairs, roll in the grass, go down a huge slide (that was the part i loved most haha), dive into a mattress, roll in colgate mint (yes, tons of toothpaste), eat raisins with chilli and wasabi (yum yum) and of cos got interrogated while sitting on a chair and had syrup rubbed on my face, eggs cracked on my head (protein! good for hair) and flour poured all over me =) and i have to answer questions like "who's the most handsome guy in your OG?" lol oh they gave us green bean soup after everything but sadly i hate green bean soup lol
in the end when we got to bathe i threw away the clothes i wore. haha. i can't even think of what my family will say to the disgusting egg-filled clothes they have to wash. =x so i said sayonara to my band fest shirt and fbt shorts =)
Day 2
hmm.. i remembered getting very little sleep the night before, about three hours only haha. in the morning after breakfast (prata!) we head to the pool for games. =) i can't really swim well thus requested for a life jacket cos we had to thread water for a damn long time -.- but its fun with the jacket =D teeheehee our first game is to swim to the middle of the pool and use a hat with needle to burst balloons. =) that part was when yizhen nearly drowned and some guy went down to save her. =x scary. after that most of us girls wore life jackets haha. then there's this game where we had to form a circle in the water holding hands and pass a hola-hoop, straw and polo mint sweet around. yah, the sweet have to be passed by mouth and its a boy-girl-boy formation too. anyway, most of the games in this camp consists of boy-girl pair thus we all sorta got used to it lol.
then after that we had this gladiator fight on water. hahaa. the girl will have to stand on a platform whereas four guys have to thread water and stablise the thing. the girl will have a long styrofoam "weapon" and the aim is it hit the other person into the water lol. erm, its more frightening than fun but oh well. haha.
we had a captain's ball game in water at the very end =) couldn't really swim fast with that life jacket on but then i can't thread water for long too so i resign to sticking at one spot and shouting for people to pass the ball to me haha. our catcher is damn pro and weiling is great too! so in the end our team won the finals for this game. =) yippeee!
oh throughout the camp we had to learn the mass dance and its really fun though we couldn't get the beats most of the time haha. i think i still can remember most of the dance steps. i love the chorus part =)
that night we had to play the skills masters game and it really looks like we are in a computer game and completing tasks along the way to the final destination. hahaha. cool =) we had to go to different stations around the school and on the way we had to find skills masters to teach us new skills so that we can fight other OGs if we meet them. haha. we found masters like sailor moon, flintstones, ru hua and some other =D the skills they taught us were very lame but damn amusing. hahahhaaa. i was laughing like crazy. =P
*** i'll continue the post after i come back. gonna meet siew to cut hair and buy school stuff! =D ta tas~~
