feels so good to be at home slowly waiting for time to dwell by. =)
there's so many things i need to do. grocery shopping (my cupboards are TOTALLY empty and not a single cup noodle is in sight! gasp.), packing some stuff for some charity organization to pick it up etc etc.
oh i haven't talked about what happened at work that day. wahahaha.
because its a weekday and after the usual lunch hour, since there are very little customers around, my colleagues and I gathered around at the front counter and started chatting. then one of them pipped up saying he wants to polish up his english because he's from malaysia, so us singaporeans started teaching him phrases and stuff. then another malaysian guy said he wants to know some romantic quotes so that he can repeat them to his girlfriend so we told him to say stuff like, "You are my one and only one"
the funny thing is, we taught him "You are my cup of tea" too but he kept repeating it as "You are my tea"!!! hahahahaha man, we laughed till we all almost cried 'coz he started going on to "You are my coffee, my mocha, my latte blah blah blah" LOL
oh the most fun part is when they taught us cantonese in return and all they teach are vulgar stuff! -___-"' an enriching experience though, i must say. heeheehee. the thing which cracks them up is that i said it in a calm and cool way but when you say vulgar words in a mild manner, it turns out so wrong and weird. =P heh. huiwen's even worst! she was slowly saying each and every word so that it seems like she's a three year old kid learning it! lol... how hilarious. =P

being near the ice cream counter has an advantage that i realised some time ago. you get free tastings of ice cream when new flavours come!!!! XD
there's this tiramisu flavour that arrived yesterday and BOY it's freaking fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the blend of alcohol, coffee and choc makes it absolutely heavenly~~~~
today i'm gonna try the new mango-and-apple flavour! heard that when it first launched in hongkong, its sold out in two hours!!!! oh my goodness.
speaking of tiramisu, i just had a craving for the cake itself.
and you know what?
