whoa

okay, third day at work.

i think the flu thing is getting on my nerves. and i NEED new SHOES. seriously. =/

been wanting to go to the doc again but no time!!! Grrr. and i really need time to buy shoes for work. i'm running out of choices and my feet hurts like hell. hey, try walking around for 14 hours and you'll understand. =(

on the plus side, i look forward to my pay check at the end of the month!!! wahahahaha. so many overtime pay! i'm rich!!!

speaking of april, i realised i haven't apply for uni yet. ops. =/

anyone applied already??? XD kindly tell me how to do it can? hahaha

suddenly i'm thinking of going for NTU's honor's degree in tourism and hotel management or something like that... realised i'm quite interested in work that interacts with people. also, that course allows me to go to cornell university in us in the midst of my studies! wheee

then again, back to the topic. its nice to know that people needs me. =) i'm talking about the restaurant i'm working in. currently i'm like the only cashier around who knows how to operate stuff and one of my managers, a woman, kept promoting me as the shop's pillar infront of customers when she's promoting our shop. wahahaha. even my jap manager is lazy to do the accounts at night and kept telling me to ignore the discrepancies in some sales. =/ feels bad though.. i hope for the day where at the end of the day my cash in the register and the total cash will tally. -___- oh well. at least i keep a clear record of everything. =) satisfied! hahaha my manager even told me i'll become an important person next time. O.o wow. so i say, its nice to know when people acknowledges your contribution. =)

hahaha typed too much for the day. have to sleep soon.. starting work early tomorrow again. gonna train my managers on how to use the cash register and all the credit cards machine and also huiwen so that next time i have an off day she can take over me. =)

but there are tensions all around also... not exactly smooth sailing. there are customers complaining about delayed food and blah blah blah... i was using one tub of gelato ice cream to vent my anger this afternoon too. hahahaa. not eating it, but poking it with the huge spoon. cos we must poke it to defrost it and make it creamy so i just whacked and whacked and whacked everything. *grin*

oh i saw siew today!! wahahaha. she came and lingered around the entrance of the shop. LOL XD thanxs ah! hee hee hee come inside and eat someday!! =D lots of things to tell ya too. hahaha and my friend kim today made a very good comment about how work does affects your relationship with others because you are more devoted to your job. its rather easy to be a workaholic really. hahaha so she said being single is the best. unless your boyfriend is not working at the same place as you. XD

oh i was asked to buy some cds to be played in the shop and the person in the music shop recommended two trumpet players and boy, their songs are really really nice!!!! so jazz-y and relaxing and romantic at the same time. *swoon*
