whee~ had my first training in the new jap restaurant in marina sq today. =) we will open on the 3rd of march so if you wanna come down to support just find Azakusabo shop! its beside billy bombers. LOL
anyway, reached there at an ungodly hour of 845am. actually i slept too late the night before but then its damn fun talking to siew on the phone for nearly FOUR hours while we chat about lots of stuff. *cough cough* wahahahaha. girl talks are always interesting. *winks*
sad to say, there are only 11 servers including me and huiwen. 5 girls and 6 guys. most of them are from malaysia though, with one from nepal and the rest singaporeans. made friends with a nice girl named fiza and three of us had lunch together while waiting for the manager to call us back to the shop. to answer siew's question, nope i don't see any potential eye candy (trust me, none at all) and there is one with teletubby's name though. -.- i also 'diao-ed' to death. wah lao... next time must still call by that name sia. and he looks abit like him. not tele, the real one. if any of you don't understand, just ignore this. hahaha XD
at least everyone's friendly enough, which made training quite fun. we all learnt to carry different kinds of dishes and deserts, plus how to make green tea and pour it. =) fun! but the managers are quite strict on customer service though. jap restaurants are always like that. =/ oh well. lets just hope i have enough patience for fussy singaporean customers. =x bleh.
but then all the cooks and kitchen helpers are all males so i do think its sorta unbalanced with lesser females. =( wahaha at least we can bully the guys into helping us carry stuff that are heavy. XD
looking forward to tomorrow's training... and manual labour of coz. hahaha. marina sq is soooo fun!!!! so many new shops, so many unique places, so many different kind of things people sell. =D wish me luck!
btw, 'a's results are coming out on 1st of march in case anyone of you all don't know. SIGH
