whee~

In another 5 hours time i'll be on the plane flying to hongkong! =D

seriously, i tried to sleep just now at ten. but no matter how i turn or toss i still can't sleep. so yep, here am i, blogging at 1.30am. heeheehee

the past few days have been so fun! =P i was so busy with all the last minute shopping and packing! ooohhh and i did my hair at shunji matsuo! =D cut a funky hairstyle plus highlighting it red with purple as the base colour. =) niceeee but it really blew a big hole out of my salary because i had the international director to do for me as other stylists are busy. =/ which results in the extremely high price. =/ oh well. i'm quite satisfied though. =D lazy to take camera out to shoot some pictures but i will later at the airport!

today's damn funny i tell you. wahaha. went to change alley at raffles with huiwen to change currency. at first we almost lost out way and walked to the pier! -.-"' we were so baffled when we reached the end and saw nothing but sea sea sea. XD in the end we finally got to the money changing place and went around checking the exchange rate. heyy studying econs does pay off! =D

the funniest thing is when we decided on a shop with one of the highest rate, the shopkeeper told us that he only have small notes of HK currency like ten and twenty dollars and doesn't have enough for both of us. but being kiasu singaporeans, we happily nodded and said its okay we will change what he have. then when the man took out that WHOLE HUGE PILE of currencies, i started laughing my head off when i realised how silly we are! =P

the thing is, huiwen doesn't know whats going on and she's still so excited and kept counting the notes while i giggled like crazy. i think we have about hundred PIECES of notes altogether! -.- which if you see in terms of singapore currency, we have like fifty pieces of two bucks and fifty pieces of five bucks. ARGH

then when huiwen finally realised i'm laughing like a mad woman she asked me what's wrong and i told her, "my wallet isn't big enough to squeeze in so many notes." so she started giggling also and lost track of her count. which made us re-count and re-count again because we kept bursting out in laughter. XD

but we took it in the end because we already agreed to change the currency with the guy and he looked quite pissed off with our giggles. -.- thank heavens that that's all he have and we eventually went another shop to change the rest of the money in bigger notes, like 100 and 1000. =/

quite stupid of us eh. =P wahahahaa. my dad was joking away that i need not worry about small change now becuase i have plenty of it. -.- yes very funny...

okay gonna play abit of maple to pass time. heeheehee

hopefully victoria's aunt house have internet access so i can blog now and then too. =P

oh feel free to sms me cos i have autoroam. but then.. i don't know whether you all in singapore will be charged more or not. =)

hongkong, shopping, eating, sightseeing, disneyland-ing here i come!!!!!!!!!

man.. i hope they speak english there because i can't utter a single word of cantonese at all. =D
