drool

Hi everybody!

Alright, i hereby announce that i'm alive and kicking now, apart from the irritating sore throat and incessant coughing. oh, and short of breath at times. =D hooray! still feeling drowsy due to doses of fever and flu med but i'm on my way to recovery! ling-er!! hope you are fine too!! =)

I'm really procrastinating about the post on prom. its not that i don't want to post everything up (heck, i've even got the photos ready in photobucket.com) but just that silly laziness about recapping every single event from the start of the day. =P will do something about it soon before my short term memory died on me. hee. ^^

now for some utterly unimportant stuff.

1. Felt really hungry now, maybe due to the lack of eating much the past few days. but my house has practically NO food at all apart from some cup noodles and frozen thingies which i'm too lazy to cook. maybe biscuits will do the trick. hmm...

2. Went to sent victoria off this afternoon!!!! Vick i'll miss you sooooo much!!! =/ don't worry we'll meet again soon!! wahahaha. ^^ what a nice experience at the airport. always gives me the feeling of freedom and happiness. =D someday i'm gonna fly all over the world! too bad the person going through the gates is not me. oh well. soon!!

3. realised i'm working alternate days next week. sigh. i really wanna work every single day coz at least it gets me something to do and also a reasonable income. =) maybe i'll go for more job hunting soon! or perhaps finally pop in to SPCA for volunteering work.

4. poor huiwen had to work three days in a row including today because of my sudden illness. =/
aiii never mind, she says she needs the money for HK trip too.

5. siew!!! i'll be looking forward to the taiwan trip in march!!! andrea (my sec sch friend) says her hols start on 8th of march so we'll confirm the flight and duration after my HK trip! =D whoop! i better start earning more money to shop and play!

6. went to orchard lib to borrow this novel by katherine stone titled "roommates". was halfway through it when i started typing just now. it talks about three girls with a strong friendship bond sharing a dorm room in stamford uni and how their lives changed after they graduated, with lots of twists and surprises along the way. a bit too coincidental if you ask me, but nevertheless its a great book. =) if there's more nicholas spark to it, it'll be perfect.

7. oh! i went singtel yesterday to sign up a new mobile plan under my name and viola~ i have a new number! will be terminating the old one soon because the contract has expired. tell me if you don't have my new number! =)

8. got a nike voucher along with two free tickets to zouk's new year eve bash at singapore expo on the 31st of dec! woohooooo!! too bad siew's working so i persuaded huiwen to go after answering her only question, "will there be food?" hahaha! actually i doubt so, but i can guarantee there'll be drinks though. =P finally for once i'm not spending my new year eve at home watching telly! =D

9. nothing more to say, except that my throat's hurting like hell again and i've used my lozenges. crap.

oh, here's a picture of my soon-to-be-fave flowers, forget-me-nots. i just love the way it seems not formal and yet attracts attention. it has a very strong will to live too and survives practically everywhere. love it! =)
