Econs paper 3 today. Relatively okay with occasional giltches here and there. didn't manage to conclude most of my essays and felt confident for only one part so yah. hope my concepts and stuff are there though. oh well, its over so no use thinking about it.
anyway today is quite a lucky day! =D
i was sitting around with my food chem notes just now with rain pitter-pattering outside the window when suddenly my granny pops out and held out a shiny object. she asks, "is this yours?"
its my long-lost earring!!!! my b'dazzle titanium double stars earring!!!! oh my gosh.
i thought i lost it forever and had to wear this fanciful dangling earring to replace it. thank goodness so far the teachers didn't spot it. yet. =D so now i have my other side back!!!! so happy!!! turns out that my granny found it on my bed when she's changing the bedsheets. but i couldn't find it last time even though i searched my pillow, blanket, everywhere!
guess the saying about "you don't have to find it, it will find you" works. ^^
was rather excited about the word "elasticity" recently mainly because every single subject talks about it in some way or another!!! don't believe? look: physics - elasticity of collision (siew told me) econs - elasticity of demand and chem - elasticity of a-helix secondary protein!!!! found in hair and wool!!!! heh heh heh. if you don't understand, go check the notes. =P
okay its quite out of point yah.
Went to the jurong perfume shop with siew after econs today. siew wanted to buy her kenneth cole reaction and j'adore by dior but only found the latter. and i'm starting to take interest in miniature perfume bottles!!!!! so kawaii-neh!!!! =)
its quite ex if i were to collect all but i'm gonna start collecting those with nice bottles. for instance, secret wish by anna sui!!!! ^^ and the super-duper-unbelievably-out-of-this-world-cute DKNY apple delicious! maybe i'll go find a cupboard or sth that has little compartments to put it and at the same time not allowing the scents to mix. wahahaha. fun~
anyway siew bought the miniature for j'adore for 15bucks and its rather reasonable! of course compared to its bigger counterpart and if you talk in terms of volume, it is not worth the price but who cares if the bottle is exquisite?
dad went out just now to find a blood pressure measurement thingy. seems like he's going to the osim headquarters. -_-"' he said something about every household should have a thermometer, first-aid kit and an instrument to measure blood pressure. right. i recall having low-blood pressure from the time i tried donating blood long long time ago and'm not looking forward to measure it again this time round. bleh.
hope he buys the ipamper massaging thing that i always see on tv too.
ohoh... dad's back.
wahhhh the little innocent machine costs 200bucks!!! oh man.
dad happily put the armband thing around my arm and says, "okay so now you press this 'start' button."
all of a sudden i get that bloated feeling on my arm and i get a bit dizzy. crap.
oh well. as expected, my blood pressure is 106, which is erm, below the minimum line for age 20. an average 20 year old should have at least 128 but no, i have 106. -_-"' i can't even touch the minimum line of 108!!! what the hell.
okay so from now onwards i'm gonna eat more meat or whatever to increase blood pressure. help.
at least i get some consolation from the words on the chart, "blood pressure fluctuates daily and one or two readings may not be that accurate. it changes through seasons too."
happy.
=)
