okie dokie! here's another long update and the first thing i'll say is i'm mighty scared for prelims. tad too late but yah, its a sudden thought. oh well. i hope my brain works during exams. =D
yesterday was spent... at home on my fave rocking sofa with some notes infront of me, occasionally dozing off. things start to liven up at night when i went online and siew was there chatting away and we chatted on and on and on. random stuff.. goals.. skirts... maple! *smirk*
then we decided to go out and study today! i've been wanting to visit this little shop named cozycanopy in stamford house and when we got there, its absolutely cool!!! the thing is this, you pay $10 for three hours and you can go into their big room with lots of comfy jap-like cushions and seats and choose dvds to watch! there's free drinks and snacks too! the best thing is their collection of dvds includes movies, serials, anime (full inuyasha collection) and lots more! there's comics to read too! then after 3 hours if u wanna stay on you just pay $5 and you can stay till the end of the day! ha!
the catch is that the movie room is not exactly private and if other people pay their ten bucks and pop in to watch, it'll be like a mini cinema. however, its good for people like me and siew cos we came at 11am and ordered their lunch set for 15bucks including the fee and after watching one movie, we went to their little tables area and study. =))))) paid another 5bucks more to extend the time and we actually sat there from ard 1 to 6pm! its really a great place to chill out and relax cos its quite empty and considering today's a saturday, there's only 5-6 people ard max.
very innovative and the ambience is really excellent with smoothing classical music and their air-conditioning is centralised but extremely COLD. oh! there's wireless internet surfing too. =D all in all, its a real good place to enjoy peace and have some entertainment too! ^^
i would have typed in more details but i'm really sleepy now and feeling fever-ish so cheerios people!
